Deanne grew up in Oxnard and spent much of her time around the Presbyterian church where her mother served in various capacities. However, it wasn’t until high school that she felt the Lord was stirring her heart. She was baptized in Hume Lake during summer camp and has been steadily growing in her faith ever since. She and her husband James currently live in Ventura and have two daughters. She enjoys classic black and white movies, visiting breweries, and attending exercise classes at the YMCA (where her superpower is doing the Crow Pose in yoga). At Christ Our Redeemer, like her mother you will typically find her involved in some service, whether that’s preparing Sunday coffee, organizing the snack schedule, volunteering in the Nursery, or helping members of the church who are in need.
